In response to our Lord’s Commission to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples, the Congregational Development Commission exists to:
• Inspire hope and confidence that congregations can thrive and grow.
• Help congregations identify and celebrate their strengths.
• Assist congregations in sharing our Anglican tradition.
• Serve as a resource center of ideas, models and tools.
• Provide forums for sharing.
The Commission generally meets three times a year and is responsible for strategy and oversight of Congregational Development activities. The following groups supplement the work of the department in providing support to congregations:
